I used to think that perfumery was straightforward: to enhance a scent, you simply add more of it. But the world of fragrance is far more magical than that.

I've learned that some notes don't need to be loud to stand out. For instance, adding more Jasmine can surprisingly amplify the scent of Rose Petals, making it brighter and more dimensional, without adding a single drop more of the rose fragrance itself. They work in the background, highlighting and elevating each other to create a more beautiful harmony.

It reminds me of myself - we often seek out people who share similar views and beliefs, thinking that's where comfort lies. But just like in perfumery, those with different qualities can actually complement us, challenge us, and help us grow into better versions of ourselves, enriching each o

ther's lives in the process.

That's why I'm falling in love with perfumery—it constantly reminds me how miraculously everything in this world interacts.
